This is more of a trigger after satyam's scandal.Let me give you a jist of what I have seen as being a part of IT sometime back.The following are the salient features.
1.Fake american accents.
Every country has a native tongue and that influences our intonation while speaking any foriegn language.So whats the deal about putting on a fake accent to please people.If it doesnt come naturally to you,dont bother.
2.Munching on like starved-beings on the goodies in mnc's canteens.
You actually want to prove to the world that we are deprived of our basic neccessities.Mncs will offer you lot of goodies,its a part of their agenda to give whatever they have to.Why do people just binge on saviouries like beasts from the jungle.
3.Modus operandi-boring routine-mechanical presentations,meets,discussions
Yep theres a gym,very good.a yoga instructor,great!is that it?How about freedom of speech?That freedom cannot beat any facility provided bt mncs.Lot of talk talk talk.Such a bull waste of time.You think for a couple of thousands you can give up on exploring your true potential and stop following your true calling?
4.Work culture-pep-talk just for the induction program
to give you a build up.Not all organizations follow what they preach in induction programs.A few do,of course.
5.Stereriotypes
Regardless of what your unique individuality was,you birds of same block look alike,program yourself into a mechanical-mundane pattern of even cribbing about it.
