Change Hydie Change

Paragon of frump Fashion

20th Century fashion of HYD

Care to change?is that wht you'd call fashion?

Dont you fret about your pathetic asthetic sense of nonsense?

Statistics say more than 70% of youth still wears this kinda garb.Is that frump-o-mania or what?!dont cost much to look good, but my eye hurts seeing somthing like this.
It's been how many years since Hydie has inhabitants?how many decades?then how come yellamas and those types of pseudo carriers of traditions still exist?why are they still existing in the same form and shape. Why didn't it occur in their minds to CHANGE.

Do you really think being a yellama and a bhenji is actually being traditional?do you really think?

In my view I like to strike a balance.Aping those phirangis intoto is also being a pseudo.coming back to yellamas.wearing all those parachute-chameli ka tel kind plaids and tying ribbions. You still find these frumps around.

FASHION POLICE-eliminate them!

RED ALERT!

Let me define yellama fashion of Hydie

  1. Bindi and gajjlu(anklets) ,tight-plaid on jeans and t-shirt.
  2. Bling-bling on cotton skirts with floral printed ballon-sleeved top.
  3. Discussing ekta and etv serials
{ barf-bag,please!}
Is this how you define fashion?

Pls if you have some respect for this city, either relocate or change your 'ISTYLE'

smajhe bhenjis?!

Too strong a thought. But why do you want to impose anything on anyone. How much of a balance would you have been yourself, if not for your urban upbringing :)

Just a small thought :D

I'm not imposing,I want people to look beautiful esp when they can.Nothing wrong to introduce ppl to themselves.

Has it occurred to you that may be they are comfortable in their own way of dressing? I see your good intentions here but hoping that everyone dresses the way you think is ideal will only make too many clones of your own type. Now, you wouldn't want that would you?

nope.its not abt cloning my style or doing it my way.All i was stressing on is the point to have proper cut to whatever kind of dress people choose to wear.Even a traditional simple kurti will look trendy when cut according to one contour.

Ppl normally thing that being fashionable is all abt wearing western clothes.thats a myth.In the pic she cud look better wearing the same dress cut properly accoring to het contour, properly fitted clothes look in vogue.now, proper fitted is not tight-fitted,thers a difference.

I hope im clear now.

also people dont know lot of simple things they can do to look great.so its not comfort, its ignorance of wht looks good and wht does not.so once they have an idea abt this, they can do wonders to themselves keeping in mind their own boundries of comfort.but wearing soggy, improper fitted clothes when they can look good given a proper shape and style is wht is called being trendy.

smart cuts, little moderation/alteration here and there is enough to make anyone look better.
